====== PF 2019 ======

**The Department of Computer Graphics and Interaction (DCGI) wishes a successful year 2019
to all\\ our students, colleagues, partners, and friends. **

| This season greeting is a combination of artistic idea and advanced computer graphics algorithm. The basis was a 2D image (on the right) that was designed and created by //[[http://dcgi.fel.cvut.cz/people/svobol18|Lucie Svobodová]]//. It has been then processed by  [[http://dcgi.fel.cvut.cz/publications/2014/sykora-tog-inknray|Ink-and-Ray]] method developed by //[[http://dcgi.fel.cvut.cz/people/sykorad|Daniel Sýkora]]// with his research team. The resulted 3D computer model has been rendered using a single point light and shadow casting.\\ \\ We thank to both members of our department for this nice connection of aesthetics and research!| {{:all:pf2019-2d.jpg?196|}} |
